Steven Vaughn Paul

Steven Vaughan (Steve) Paul, 53 of Lee County, GA, died Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM at The First Baptist Church of Leesburg. Rev. Bobby Harrell will officiate. Interment will follow in Leesburg Cemetery.

A native of Dawson, GA, Steve was born to the late Vaughan H. Paul and Gene Paul Johnson. He grew up in Albany, GA and graduated from Albany High School in 1978. Steve had resided in Lee County, GA for the past thirty years, was employed with United Distributers, Inc. for the past twenty seven years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Leesburg.

Survivors include his wife, Eve H. Paul of Lee County, GA, two sons, Tyler Paul and his wife, Rachel of Albany, GA and Cory Paul of Lee County, GA, a grandchild, Sawyer Paul of Albany, GA, a brother and his wife, David and Roxanne Paul of Albany, GA and a sister and her husband, Cindy and Joel Beard of Morgan, GA.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM Thursday at Mathews Funeral Home.
