Steve Anthony McWaters

Steve Anthony McWaters, 54, of Leesburg, GA, died November 9, 2016 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate.

A native of Ft. Rucker, AL, Steve grew up in Lagrange, GA and moved to Leesburg, GA in the early 1980's. He was an electrician and was employed with Georgia Electric for sixteen years. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and planting his garden.

Survivors include his wife, Donna McWaters of Leesburg, GA, two sons, Anthony McWaters of Leesburg, GA and Chris Jenkins and his wife, Michelle of Kannapolis, NC, a daughter, Emily Glisson of Opelika, AL, two brothers, David Wayne McWaters and Michael Keith McWaters and his wife, Kerrie all of Leesburg, GA, his step-father, Tommy Golden of Terrell County, GA, a niece, Amber Newell and a nephew, Eric McWaters both of Leesburg, GA and seven grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Saturday at Mathews Funeral Home.
