Stanley E. Colllins

Stanley E. Collins, 67, of Albany, GA, died May 9, 2017 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Ross Powell will officiate. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be John Watkins, John Peterson, Jamie Bence, Cody Bence, Randy Henry and Mike France, honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Wingate and David Johnson.

A native and lifelong resident born to the late Leslie and Hazel Collins, Stanley graduated from Albany High School in 1967. He was employed with Albany Water, Gas and Light and retired as Line Supervisor after forty-two years. Stanley was a member of Palmyra Road United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his son, Jamie Collins, his daughter, Brittany Collins of Pigeon Forge, TN, and four grandchildren, Chandler Collins, Logan Collins, Baylon Collins all of Albany, GA, Aveion Collins of Pigeon Forge, TN, a nephew, Jason Harper of Albany, GA and two nieces, Leslie Harper of Albany, GA, and Lindsey Harper of Jacksonville, FL.

The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral at Mathews Funeral Home.
