Shirley Ruth Palmer

Shirley Ruth Palmer, 68, of Albany, GA, died December 10, 2014 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, December 15, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Sunset Cemetery in Meigs, GA. Rev. Charles Jones will officiate.

A native of York, PA, Mrs. Palmer was born to the late Paul and Ruth Myers Lentz. She had resided in Albany, GA since 1975 and was employed with Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for seventeen years. After retirement, she was employed with John Ross Jewelers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Palmer. Mrs. Palmer was of the Lutheran faith.

Survivors include a sister, Kay Alexander of Arlington, TX and many nieces and nephews.

Anyone wanting to visit with the family may come to the Lamb's farm at 2:00 PM following the service at 231 Lockett Station Road, Albany, GA 31721.
