Shirley Temple Odom, 77, of Lee County, GA, died April 24, 2013 at her residence. Services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bruce Smith will officiate. A private interment will follow in Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
A native of Mitchell County, GA, Mrs. Odom had lived in Lee County since 1997 moving from Dougherty County. She was a homemaker and was formerly employed with Aero Commander and Servpro. She attended New Hope Baptist Church. Mrs. Odom was preceded in death two children, Rosemary Williford and Clint Williford, five sisters, Reva Davis, Vera Mae Hatcher, Margaret Barksdale, Violet Lee White and Merle Hatcher and a brother, Earl Thompson.
Survivors include her husband, Mack Odom of Lee County, GA, a daughter and her husband, Debbie and Dennis Moore of Lee County, GA, three sons, Glen Williford and his wife, Judy of Albany, GA, Timmy Williford and his wife, Terri of Ailey, GA and Mark Williford of Lee County, GA, a brother, Carl Thompson of Live Oak, FL, her grandchildren, Jason (Cristy) Barwick, Jeremy Barwick (Candy), Justin (Kayla) Barwick, Sheri (Mike) Hope, Josh Williford, Wendy Williford, Ashley Barksdale, Jerry Fordham, Stacey (Rimma) Fordham, Dewayne Conger, Denise Willis, Brian Willis, Melissa (Terrry) Gring, Zack Williford and Taylor Williford, nineteen great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren, a special niece and caregiver, Harriett Smith, two caregivers, Jessica Jackson and Frances Phillips and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
