Shirley C. Huiras

Shirley C. Huiras, 80, of Leesburg, GA, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Phoebe Worth Medical Center. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 27, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Floral Memory Gardens. Norman Denney will officiate.

A native of Miami, FL, born to the late William Henry Elsberry and Stella Harp Elsberry. Mrs. Huiras had resided in the Albany and Lee County, GA area for the past fifty-four years. She was retired from Albany Water, Gas and Light Commission and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Albany, GA. Mrs. Huiras was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Huiras.

Survivors include two daughters, Joanne Rupert and her husband, Darrell of Albany, GA, and Regina Roberts of Leesburg, GA, two sons, Richard Huiras and his wife, Caryl and Robert “Bobby” James Huiras all of Leesburg, GA, nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, two brothers, Rev. William H. Elsberry of Abbeville, GA and Charles Elsberry of Dalton, GA.

The family will receive friends at the home of Richard and Caryl Huiras.
