Shirley Ann Drinkwater

Shirley Ann Drinkwater, 57, of Leesburg, GA., died Friday, August 26, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Patmos Free Will Baptist Church. The interment will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Curtis Alligood will officiate.

A native of Dawson, GA., Mrs. Drinkwater had resided in Leesburg, GA. since 2003 moving from Morgan, GA. Mrs. Drinkwater was formerly employed with Pellicano Construction and was a homemaker. She was a member of Patmos Free Will Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her father, Charles Edgar Brazel.

Survivors include her husband, Dannie Drinkwater, of Leesburg, GA., a son, Joey Kimbrel (Jennifer), of Moultrie, GA., a daughter, Lesley Taylor (Matt), of Leary, GA., her mother, Becky Brazel, of Dawson, GA,. two brothers, Robert Brazel, of Morgan, GA., and Johnny Brazel (Tina), of Arlington, GA., a sister, Joan Brazel (Scott), of Dothan, AL., two step-sons, Chris Drinkwater, of Roy, UT., and Carlton Drinkwater (Melissa), of Morgan, GA., a step-daughter, Carolyn Drinkwater, of Albany, GA., and her grandchildren, McKinlee Kimbrel, Bella Owen, Dorothy Drinkwater, Creek Kimbrel, AnnaLee Taylor and Maddie Taylor

The family will receive friends Sunday, August 28, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home
