Shirle Ann Clements Jordan

Shirle Ann Clements Jordan, 76, of Leary, GA, died Novemeber 3, 2011 at her daughter's residence in Alpharetta, GA. Graveside funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00AM at the Leary City Cemetery. Rev. Heath Kahlbau will officiate.

A native of Morgan, GA, Mrs. Jordan moved to Leary, GA in 1958 from Athens, GA. She was a homemaker and former teacher at Leary Elementary School. Mrs. Jordan was a graduate of Morgan High School, LaGrange College and attended the University of Georgia.

She was a member of Leary Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years, sang in the choir and attended the Adult Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death in 2010 by her husband, Ralph Marvin Jordan, JR.

Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Lisa J. and Dan Woolf of Alpharetta, GA and Lori and Ray Griffin of Leary, GA, a brother, Andy Clements and his wife, Donna of Clayton, GA, six grandchildren, Lauren Grigg, Richard Woolf, Brittany Woolf, Jordan Griffin, Owen Griffin and Boden Griffin and two great-grandchildren, Sean Grigg and Joshua Grigg.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Sunday at Mathews Funeral Home.
