Sherry Lou Harrell

Sherry Lou Harrell, 69, of Dawson, GA, died November 29, 2016 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 4:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Pastor Charlotte Lawrence will officiate. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Born in Albany, GA to the late John and Dorothea Goodman, Sherry lived all of her life in Terrell County, GA. She graduated from Terrell County High School in 1966 and was a homemaker and mother. Sherry was a member of New Testament Holiness Church in Fitzgerald, GA. The best way to remember Sherry was that she loved the Lord. Her hobbies were crocheting, cooking and baking. Sherry was preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph "Bill" Harrell.

Survivors include her sons, Mark Harrell, John Harrell and Brian Harrell all of Dawson, GA and Daniel Harrell and his wife, Trina of Albany, GA, three grandchildren, Joshua, Emma and Gabriel, her siblings, Frank Eastman of Augusta, GA, Vinetta Crisp and her husband, Terry and Gwen Goodman and her fiancee, Michael Watson all of Dawson, Shane Sneed of Etawa, TN and Cheryl Savugot and her husband, Scott of Athens, TN.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Mathews Funeral Home
