Sherry Joyce Davis Askew

Sherry Joyce Davis Askew, 56, of Lee Co., GA, died Monday, June 12, 2017 at her residence. Memorial services will be conducted Friday, June 16, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate.

Born in Albany, GA, Sherry had resided in Albany, GA most all of her life. She was a former sales representative and homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Hollis Askew, a brother, Terry Joe Davis and a sister, Wanda Jean Kimsey.

Survivors include four daughters, Angie Carswell (Willie), Albany, GA, Leslie Davis (Chad), Albany, GA, Lacie Joyce Davis (Marcus), Athens, GA, Cricket Clark (Michael), Dothan, AL, parents, Billy Joe Davis and Christeen Bence Davis, Albany, GA, a brother, Tony Randall Davis, Albany, GA and nine grandchildren, Becca Chick, Jessica Ellis, Chandler Bryan, Mason Clark, Baylon Collins, Chadleigh Foster, Novalee Clark, Alexis Clark and Autumn Clark.

The family will receive friends following the services at the funeral home.
