Sherrie Lynn Hodges Cowart, 50, of Lee Co., GA died Thursday, July 27, 2017 at her parents’ residence. Memorial services will be conducted Sunday, July 30, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Craig Howell will officiate. Born in Albany, GA, Mrs. Cowart had resided in Lee Co., GA all of her life. Before her illness Sherrie was employed with Bennett’s Feed and Seed and Brad Lanier Oil Company. She was of the Christian faith. Survivors include her husband, Ricky Cowart, parents, B. F. and Elaine Hodges, brother, Billy Hodges, brother-in-law, Joel White, two sons, Colby Eubanks and Landon Wiggins all of Lee Co., GA, three daughters, Whitney Radford, Augusta, GA, Misti Cowart and Kristin Cowart, Columbus, GA, granddaughter, Isabella “Bella” Webb and grandson, Aiden Clemence both of Lee Co., GA. The family will receive friends following the services at Mathews Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in memory of Sherrie Lynn Hodges Cowart to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105
