Shelia Kay Thomas

Sheila Kay Thomas, 64, of Albany, GA, died May 6, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Monday at 3:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Ken Chancellor will officiate. Interment will follow in Oakview Cemetery in Camilla, GA.

A native of Tallahassee, FL, Miss Thomas had resided in Albany, GA for the past thirty years and was formerly employed by J.C. Penney Company, Inc. Miss Thomas loved her church and church family and she was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church and the Pastor's Sunday School Class.Survivors include her parents, Aubrey (Bud) and Joyce Woody Thomas of Camilla, GA, three sisters, Janice Sanders of Albany, GA, Sandy and Harold West of Leesburg, GA and Beverly and Jeff Lawson of Albany, GA, two brothers, Britt and Janine Thomas of Tallahassee, FL and David Thomas of Albany, GA and four nieces and two nephews.
The family is at the residence of Sandy and Harold West, 296 N. Hampton Road, Leesburg, GA, 31763.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM Monday before the funeral at Mathews Funeral Home.
