Shelby Ann Barfield Bennett

Shelby Ann Barfield Bennett, 57, of Panama City, FL, died Friday, November 16, 2012 at Bay Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.

A native of Houston, Texas, Mrs. Bennett lived in Albany most of her life before moving to Panama City, FL seven years ago. She was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith.

Survivors include her husband, Victor E. Bennett of Panama City, FL, her children, Barbara Richey Mullis and her husband, Wendell of Leesburg, GA, David T. Richey, Jr. of Crossville, AL, Jamie Davis of Americus, GA, Chris Davis of Cordele, GA and Misty Bennett of Newton, GA, her mother, Shirley Rowland Barfield of Albany, GA, her siblings, Peggy Brown and her husband, Wayne of Aransas Pass, TX, Sandra McDonald and her husband, Mike of Leesburg, GA, Mary Butcher and her husband, George of Shelby, NC, Elton O. Barfield and his wife, Tina of Albany, GA and JoAnn Ruffin and her husband, Stan of Leesburg, GA, her grandchildren, Heather, Michael, Katelin, Cameron, Jayden, Jordan, and Ethan. She was preceded in death by her father, Elton Barfield, her sister Glenda Littleton and a grandson, Tyler.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday at Mathews Funeral Home.

The family will be at the residence of Barbara and Wendell Mullis, 100 Travis Lane, Leesburg, GA 31763.
