Sharon Kay Jarvis

Sharon Kay Jarvis, of Albany, GA., died Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Tift Regional Hospital. A funeral service will be held Sunday, November 6, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Paul will officiate. A private interment will be held at Floral Memory Gardens.

Born in Dunkirk, NY, Mrs. Jarvis was a homemaker and cared for her family, whom she loved greatly. She was of the Pentecostal faith and a devout Christian. She gave generously to many charitable organizations and helped anyone that was in need. In addition to her parents, Leslie and Iris Hunt, she was preceded in death by her husband Darrell Jarvis and the father of her daughter, Jack Higday.

Survivors include her daughter, Shelby Mckenzie (Jeffrey), her grandchildren whom she loved greatly, Hunter Mckenzie and Brianna Mckenzie, a sister, Grace Stallings, a brother, Leslie Hunt, Jr. and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends following the service.
