Senescio Garcia

Senescio “Sam” Garcia, 81, of Albany, GA died Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at the Georgia War Veterans Home in Milledgeville, GA. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 13, 2019 at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery. Rev. Stephen Swails will officiate.

Born on the King Ranch in Kingsville, TX, Mr. Garcia was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, serving two tours in Vietnam. He was a lab technologist working with Dawson Hospital, Irwin Co. Hospital and Stewart-Webster Hospitals through his career.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert Garcia and Maria Saldivar Garcia, two sisters, Mary Benavides, Emma Alvarez, two step-daughters, Debbie Todd Smith and Susan Todd Douglas. He was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include his wife Earlene Kaufman Todd Garcia and a step-son, David Todd both of Albany, GA, a step-daughter, Cindy Moore and her husband Joey Moore, Cuthbert, GA, two brothers, Robert Garcia, Gilbert Garcia, Jr., one niece, Martha Ann Cramer, all of Brownsville, TX, and ten step-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends following the services at the cemetery.
