Scott Harper

Scott Harper, 45, of Albany, GA, died Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Phoebe North Medical Center. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Knight will officiate. Interment will follow in Leesburg Cemetery.

A native of Bainbridge, GA, Mr. Harper had resided in Donaldsonville, GA. before moving to Leesburg, GA eighteen years ago. Growing up Scott excelled in little league baseball. He was employed with Integra Business Alternatives, LLC and attended The Commons Church.

Scott is best known as a loyal friend and has a vast number of friends throughout South Georgia. Scott was also known for his great sense of humor, all of his friends would often comment on how Scott always made them laugh and was always there for them. His big heart was always open to all of his friends and he never met a stranger.

Survivors include his parents, Larry and Gloria Harper, Leesburg, GA, a brother, Michael Patrick Harper, Conroe, TX, a sister and her husband, Chris Holmes and Randy, Loganville, GA and a number of aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 24, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.

The family is at the residence of Larry and Gloria Harper, Leesburg, GA.
