Saralyn M. Elton

Saralyn Martin Elton, 90, of Albany, GA, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, November 11, 2018. Memorial services will be held Friday, November 16, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.K. Elton at 2703 Elton St., Albany, GA. Elder John Burkett will officiate.

Saralyn was born on January 15, 1928 in Hazelhurst, GA. She was an avid member of Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church of Sasser, GA. Saralyn was preceded in death by her son, Steve Elton, and her granddaughter, Ashley Elton.

Saralyn is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, John Kelly Elton, her children, Rebecca “Becky” Butler and her husband, Bill of Johns Creek, GA and James Martin “Marty” Elton and his wife, Donna of Leesburg, GA, her daughter-in-law, Tina Elton of Birmingham, AL, her grandchildren, Kristy Denbow (Ryan), Aryn Elton, Rod Butler (Julie), Sandy Massey (Chris) and Brent Shipman, her great-grandchildren, Isabelle Denbow, Avery Denbow, Chloe Denbow, Sutton Elton, Madi Butler, Kensi Butler, Kayleigh Massey, Meridith Massey and Michael Massey.

The meal following the service will be provided by the Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church.
