Sarah Elizabeth Williams

Sarah Y. Williams, 73, of Albany, GA, died Monday, February 18, 2013 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday at 3:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

A native of Cartersville, GA, Mrs. Williams grew up in Dawson, GA and had resided in Albany, GA since 1970. She was a homemaker and the widow of Ernest Walter Thomas Williams.

Survivors include two sons, Chuck Williams of Leesburg, GA and Mark Williams of Sasser, GA, a sister, Glenda Limbert and her husband, John of Rome, GA, four grandchildren, Amy Brooke Williams of Athens, GA, Ryan Andrew Williams of Leesburg, GA, Josh Williams and his wife, Krista of Leesburg, GA and Taylor Nichols of Albany, GA and a great-grandchild, Bryleigh Marie Williams. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin Williams Nichols.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
