Sarah (Dee) R. Ward

Sarah R. (Dee) Ward, 77, of Albany, GA, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Wilson Hospice House. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, May 22 at 2:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Greg Davis will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. A private family entombment service will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.

A native of Madison, FL, Mrs. Ward had resided in Albany, GA since 1956 coming from Bainbridge, GA. She was retired from Temporaries Unlimited as a manager and was a member of Central Baptist Church. Mrs. Ward was also a member of Women of The Moose and was a member and past president of the Elks Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, Fred H. Ward, Jr. of Albany, GA, three daughters, Brenda G. Ward of Orlando, FL, Donna W. Craig of Barnevald, NY and Wendy Ward Waller and her husband, Seth of Springboro, OH, a sister, Dorothy Lou Raulerson of Perry, FL, two grandchildren, Luke Ward Waller of Springboro, OH and Maura Surin Waller of Springboro, OH.
