Sarah Evelyn McLeod Mock

Sarah Evelyn Mock, 88, of Albany, GA, died Saturday, February 15, 2014 in Albany, GA. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 17, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Collins and Rev. Reagan Marsh will officiate. A private interment will follow on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Colquitt City Cemetery, Colquitt, GA.

Born in Baker Co., GA, Mrs. Mock had resided in Albany, GA since 1953. She was a retired merchandiser and purchaser for K-Mart. She was a member of Beacon Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, William Noah McLeod and Elizabeth Norman McLeod, her husband, Idus Ivey (Dick) Mock, a son, Titus Mock and a brother, Thomas N. McLeod.

Survivors include a daughter, Sara I. Mock, Albany, GA, three brothers, John W. McLeod, Albany, GA, H.C. McLeod, Darien, GA, Steven K. McLeod, Newton, GA, four sisters, Dorothy L. Hopkins, Cairo, GA, Grace Craft, Dawson, GA, Christine Glaze, Albany, GA, Martha Davis, Cheyenne, Wyoming, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends following the services at Mathews Funeral Home.
