Sara Carroll Taylor

Sara Carroll Taylor 88, of Albany, died Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Wynfield Park Health and Rehabilitation.

Her service will be Monday 11 a.m. at Byne Memorial Baptist Church with interment at 3:30 p.m. in Bethlehem Church Cemetery, Fitzgerald, GA. Rev. Greg Carroll and Rev. Kerry Reeves will officiate.

A native of Fitzgerald Mrs. Taylor had lived in Albany since 1966. She was a member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church and the Faith Sunday School Class.

She was preceded in death by her husband John C. Taylor, parents, W. J. and Pearl Carroll, brothers Tony Carroll, Henry Carroll, David Carroll and sisters, Fay Adamson and Lucy Carroll.

Survivors include her daughters, Teresa Freeman (Charles), Albany, Susan Bowen, Albany,
grandchildren, Charlie Freeman, Jr. (Katherine), Valdosta, Merrill Freeman, Albany, Levi Bowen (JoAnna) Cumming, great grandchildren Trey Freeman, Hank Freeman, Preston Bowen, brothers Dr. Dick Carroll, Americus, John Carroll (Nena), Fitzgerald and sister in law Juanita Carroll, Fitzgerald.

The family will receive friends Monday 10 a.m. until funeral hour.
