Sara Etheridge Rayburn

Sarah Etheridge Rayburn, 87, of Terrell County, GA, died January 28, 2025 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, January 31, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Riverside Cemetery. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate.

Mrs. Rayburn was born in Calhoun County, GA on May 30, 1937. She grew up there, graduated from High School and married Charles, C. Rayburn. Mrs. Rayburn had lived in Terrell County, GA for the past thirty one years. She was a great wife, homemaker and mother, she belonged to the former Cordray Mill Assembly of God and loved flowers and Puzzle Books.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Rayburn, Jr. and a son Richard Rayburn. Survivors include her sons, Charles C. Rayburn, III and Robert Etheridge, her nieces and nephews, Walter (Sherry) Hasty and Denise Hendley all of Lee County, GA and Tony Etheridge and Michael Etheridge of Terrell County, GA.
