Sam L. Lawton

Samuel L. Lawton, 51, of Hanahan, SC, formerly of Albany, GA, passed away January 30, 2012.
Born in Albany, GA, he was the son of Doris Curles and the late M.C. Lawton. Mr. Lawton was a graduate of Riverview Academy, Albany Campus, he was a truck driver, he loved Georgia football, Nascar and fishing.

He is survived by three daughters, Heather Lawton, Autumn Wiley and husband Joshua and Anna Shifflett and husband Mike, all of North Charleston, SC, two sons, Beau Lawton and Nick Lawton, both of James Island, SC, mother, Doris Evans Curles of Albany, GA, two brothers, Andy Lawton and Russell Lawton, both of Leesburg, GA, three sisters, Bobby Jo Cox and Judy Goins of Leesburg, GA and Doris Ann Smith of Brinson, GA. Mr. Lawton was predeceased by his father, M.C. Lawton and brother, Julian Lawton.

Memorial Service will be held Monday, February 6, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends following the service.
