Sally Ann Waldorf Tanner

Sally Ann Waldorf Tanner, 81, of Tallahassee, FL died Friday, November 12, 2021 at Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee, FL. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Albany Family Worship Center. Rev. Bobby Paul will officiate. Interment will follow at Leesburg Cemetery.

Born in Hornell, NY, Mrs. Tanner had resided in Albany, GA for forty years before moving to Tallahassee, FL. She was a retired manager with Fast Foods Convenience Stores. Sally loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends. She never missed an opportunity to make someone feel Loved and know that they are loved by God. Her sense of humor often surfaced. She was a member of Woodrun Baptist Church, Tallahassee, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph George Waldorf and Thauna Annette Waldorf, her soulmate, Ray Yates, her brother, Ralph Waldorf, sisters, Barbara Taylor, Sandra and Debra Pias.

Survivors include her children, Wanda Barksdale (Ed), Crawfordville, FL, Lori Walsh (Pat), Medford, WI, Cindy McCray (Bill), Tallahassee, FL, Christopher Davis (Wendy), Brunswick, GA, Allen Terrell, Tallahassee, FL, brother, Fred Waldorf (Chris), Albany, GA and sister, Karen Ruffino, Lockport, NY, twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 6:00p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
