Ruby Viola Saxon

Ruby Viola Saxon, 85, of Albany, GA, died July 3, 2013 at Willson Hospice House. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 PM at Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. Donnie Nix will officiate.

A native of Sylvester, GA, Mrs. Saxon graduated from Sylvester High School and had resided in Albany, GA for the past sixty years moving from Key West, FL. She was formerly employed with El Rancho Restaurant and was the former manager of Keri's Laundromat for many years. Mrs. Saxson was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Saxon.

Survivors include her three sons, Tommy Saxon of Albany, GA, Dennis Saxon of Baconton, GA and John Saxon of Sylvester, GA, a sister, Eddie Mae Walker of Sylvester, four grandchildren, Breanna Saxon of Leesburg, GA, Tyler Calhoun of Leesburg, GA, Aundrea Bayne of Maimi, FL and Jeff Saxon of Springfield, TN and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at their residences and Mrs. Saxon will lie in state at Mathews Funeral Home.
