Ruby Jewel Henry, 80, of Albany, GA went home to be with Jesus, Thursday, September 12, 2013 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Debra Boozer, Rev. Jeff Henry and Rev. Tommy Powell will officiate. Interment will follow at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.
A native of Milford, GA, Mrs. Henry had resided in Albany since 1957 moving from Colquitt, GA. She was employed with K-Mart and Wal-Mart for many years. Mrs. Henry was also employed with Interstate Truck Leasing, Burger King and was a member of Berea Full Gospel Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Eugene Henry and a granddaughter, Amanda Michele Boozer.
Survivors include two sons, Jeff Henry and his wife, Janice of Albany, GA and Stephen Henry and his wife, Kelley of Leesburg, GA, three daughters, Debra Boozer and her husband, Thomas of Attapulgus, GA, Darlene Bruner and her husband, Bobby of Albany, GA and Denise Johnson and her husband, Mark of Ringgold, GA, two sisters, Jesse M. Miller and Dorothy J. Yates both of Tallahassee, FL, three brothers, Jack Lee and his wife, Jean of Louisville, KY, Robert Lee and his wife, Dorbra of Kingston, TN and Woodrow Lee and his wife, Jan of Otto, NC, nineteen grandchildren and twenty three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
