Royce J. O'Hair

Royce J. O'Hair, 81, of Albany, GA died Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Floyd Medical Center, Rome, GA. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Tony Haefs will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Born in Leverne, OK, Mr. O'Haire's family moved to Washington State when he was three years of age and he then moved to Albany, GA in 1950. He was a brick mason and had resided in most of the fifty states and was employed with the Winfred Draughon Construction Company for fifteen years. He was a member of Gillionville Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold O'Hair and Tressie Sandy O'Hair, a brother, Stanley O'Hair and a sister, Twila Holsteen.
Survivors include his wife, Wynell King O'Hair, Albany, GA, a daughter and her husband, Pamela Johnston Thorton (Robert), Dallas, GA, a sister, Phyllis Main, Richland, WA, three grandchildren, Jayme J. Wallin, Jenee J. Gibson, Robert R. Johnston and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Mathews Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
