Roy Heyman Eubanks

Roy Heyman Eubanks, 78, of Albany, GA, died September 29, 2015 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bruce English will officiate. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

A native of Cuthbert, GA, Mr. Eubanks grew up in Bluffton, GA and graduated from Clay County High School and received his Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Albany State University. He moved to Albany, GA in 1960 and was employed with Georgia Electric Company for fourteen years, serving as Vice-President. He was also the co-owner of Southern Electric Mechanical Company for ten years and was a member of Avalon United Methodist Church.

Survivors include three sisters, Kanoe Barrows of Columbus, OH, Blanche Lanier of Albany, GA and Helen Rinehart of Richmond, VA, three nephews, Roger Flanagan of Albany, GA, Kerry Bunn of Leesburg, GA and Rodney Flanagan of Mitchell County, GA, two great nieces, Kayla White of Albany, GA and Ashley Hines of Buffalo, NY and three great-nephews, Shelby White of Albany, GA, Tyler Bunn of Lee County, GA and Timothy Flanagan of Mitchell County, GA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Sellar Eubanks.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
