Rose LaFaye Hart

Rose LaFaye Hart, 96 , of Albany, GA passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Magnolia Manor of Americus, GA. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Deacon Johnny McGee will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Born in Lake Lansing, MI, Mrs. Hart had resided in Albany, GA most all of her life. She was retired from MacGregor Golf and after retirement she became a full time homemaker. She attended Beacon Baptist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Harmon and Violet Harmon, her husband, Henry C. Hart and two children, Gordon Hart and Linda Satterfield.

Survivors include a son, Charles W. (Chuck) Hart and his wife Judy, Albany, GA, a daughter, Leeann McCollum and her husband Mac, Hospice, FL, grandchildren, Tammy Atherton and her husband, Yaqui, Cape Girardean, MO, Terry Hart, Tracy Hart, all of Leesburg, GA, Ike Hart, Keith Rustin, Albany, GA, Tonya Satterfield, Cleveland, GA, Christy Therrien and her husband, Dustin, Cleveland, OH, great-grandchildren, Canyon, Taylor, Gracie-Jo, Caitlyn, Kelsey, Steele, Autumn, Little Man, Cody, Justin, great-great-grandchildren, Maverick and Levi.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at Mathews Funeral Home.
