Ronald Temples

Ronald Temples, 78, of Albany, died Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at his home. 

His funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Mathews Funeral Home with interment to follow in Crossroads Cemetery in Damascus, GA. 

Born in Damascus, Mr. Temples had lived in Albany since 1972 and was retired from Cooper Tire. He loved spending time with his great grandchildren going to the flea market and you could find him at Burger King most mornings where he was known as “Pops” 

Survivors include his sons Donald Temples, John Temples (Gail), grandchildren, Brittany, Dakota, Tyler (Zack), Kayla, Megan, Chace (Leslie), Hannah (Trey), great grandchildren, Blayton, Lexi, Morgan, Paisley, Brantley, Waylon, Bryson, Daylen and Brynlee. He is also survived by his brother, Ralph Temples, (Liz) and sister Evelyn Fain. 

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, January 3, 2025 at Mathews Funeral Home.
