Ronald Elton Mize, Jr.

Ronald Elton Mize, Jr., 50, of Lee County GA, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.  Memorial services will be conducted Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 3:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home.  Mr. Ross Powell will officiate.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Born in Kinston, NC, Ron has resided in Lee County since 1999.  He was employed as a maintenance technician with Proctor and Gamble for 29years.  Ron enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved hunting, fishing and working on anything outside. He was the most loving father, husband, son, brother and Poppy (to his granddaughter) he will be greatly missed by us all.

Survivors include his wife Susan Mize, three children Lauren Mize Bozeman and her husband Derek, Hannah Mize, and Hunter Mize, grandchild Kennedy Paige Bozeman, all of Lee County, his mother Nancy Helderman (Terry), his father Ronald Mize, Sr. (June), three sisters Rita Grayson (Boomer), Roxanne Mize, and Renee Rhodes all of North Carolina, and many extended family.
