Ronald Glenn Harpe, 63, of Albany, GA died Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from injuries sustained in an accident in Lee County. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 16, 2019 at the Bronwood United Methodist Church in Bronwood, Ga with Pastor Eddie Braswell officiating.
Mr. Harpe was born in Americus, GA on November 7, 1956 to Ronald Harpe and the late Joyce Whatley Harpe. He had lived in the South Georgia area all of his life. Mr. Harpe was an avid hunter and adventurer who traveled all over the world including Africa, Canada, and South America to pursue his passion. He was always happiest when he was outdoors whether it was hunting, fishing, searching for arrowheads or working. Mr. Harpe was the owner of many businesses, one being R. G. Harpe, Inc. Mr. Harpe was a well loved man who impacted the lives of countless people. He had a fondness for guns and was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. Mr. Harpe was a God fearing Christian man who shared the same love for God as he did for his family.
Survivors include his daughter, Stephanie Harpe Singer of Marietta; his sons, Tyler Dixon Harpe and Tanner Eason Harpe, both of Albany; grandsons, Cason Singer and Brooks Singer, both of Marietta; his father, Ronald D. Harpe (Sue) of Bronwood; brother, Gary Harpe (Kim) of Arizona; sister, Mitzi Wittman (Bill) of Pennsylvania and his ex-wife, Lisa A. Harpe of Leesburg. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Whatley Harpe and a sister, Gina Harpe.
