Roger Alan Branch

Roger Alan Branch, 71 of Lee County, GA, peacefully passed away at his residence on August 20, 2023. Memorial service will be held Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 11:00 Am at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Charles Jones will officiate.

Roger was born on October 18, 1951 in Panama City, FL to the late Lewis Roger and Hilda Stewart Branch. In his youth Roger was a Boy Scout and earned the highest achievement rank of being an Eagle Scout. He attended the University of Tennessee and was an avid Volunteers fan. GO VOLS!

Roger had a fulfilling and meaningful career. He dedicated 25 years of his life working for Cooper Tire until its closure. Following that, he joined Miller Brewing where he served diligently for 9 years until his retirement. Roger found immense joy through various hobbies and interests. He loved fishing, camping, and music. But most of all he deeply loved his family and his little man, Stinker Bug.  

Survived by his loving wife, of forty-seven years, Connie Etheredge Branch of Leesburg, GA; his son Alan Branch of Leesburg, GA; his daughter Lacy Woodham (Chris) of Leesburg, GA; his cherished grandchildren Landon Stewart O'Neil Woodham and Madison Rae Branch; his adoring sister Deb Branch Monroe; several nieces and nephews; and a multitude of friends whose lives were undoubtedly touched by his presence.
