Robert Earl White, 81, of Albany, GA, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery Mausoleum. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate.
Robert was born on September 19, 1939, in Birmingham, AL, to the late Roy and Mary Lee White. He served in the United States Air Force for four years during the Vietnam War. He was a great man that loved and cared for his family. He loved Alabama football and unique facts about everything. He also taught himself and the grandkids German just for fun. He loved fixing things and commenting on everyone’s post on Facebook.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his twin brother Roy White, Jr. Survivors include his wife Aleata White of Albany, GA, daughter Pam Dunham (Jeff) of Albany, GA, son Troy White of Albany, GA, grandchildren, Devon White, Jonny White, Jordan Cannon, Haley Jackson, Charlie White, and three brothers, Bill White of FL, Jimmy White of AL, and Jack White of NC.
The family will receive friends immediately following the committal service at Crown Hill Cemetery.
