Robert L. West

Robert L. West, 73, of Lee County, died Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. 

His funeral service will be Saturday 2 PM at Crown Hill Cemetery with Military Honors. 

A native of Cuthbert, Mr. West had lived in Albany area since 1957.  He was retired from Keenan Auto Parts and was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. 

Survivors include his wife Peggy Gilchrist West, Leesburg, daughter, Robin West Torre (Paul), Leesburg, sons, Michael West (Ashley), Leesburg, Chuck West (Gayle), Raleigh, NC, Danny West (Jackie), Ochlocknee, grandchildren, Jessica Hunter (Brandon), John Rowland, Ashleigh Rowland, Victoria West, Gracie West, great grandson, Charlie Hunter, sister Charlotte Miller (Galen), Shalimar, FL, brothers, Walter West, Birmingham, AL, Jimmy West, Hammond, LA, Dennis West, Leeds, AL, Wayne West, Rome, GA. 

The family will receive friends Friday 6 to 8 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
