Robert ""Bobby"" Sceals

Robert Bobby Louis Sceals, 78, of Leesburg, GA, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 A.M. at Mathews Funeral Home. Tolbert Cassady and Jamie R. Korona will officiate.

A native of Ashburn, GA, born to the late Edward Louis and Daisy Camilla Carver Sceals. Mr. Sceals was a lifelong South West Georgia resident. He retired from Mac Gregor Golf Company in 1999. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Faye Sceals, his son, Keith Sceals, seven sisters, Rilla Parks, Mary Cason, Louise Collins, Jewel Standridge, Betty Jean Williams, Patsy Garrett, Shirley Williams, and one brother, G.R. Sceals. Mr. Sceals was a member of Beacon Baptist Church in Albany, GA.


Survivors include his wife, Brenda Lee Roberts Sceals of Leesburg, a daughter Angie and her husband Jamie Korona of Leesburg, one step-daughter, Terri and her husband Kevin Morey of Albany, a step-son, Scott Trogdon and his wife Lynne of Jacksonville, FL, and one daughter-in-law, Cindy Sceals of Leesburg, GA. He is also survived by his grandchildren Jake R. Korona of Flowery Branch, GA, Tabitha F. Korona, of North Augusta, SC, Justin R. Korona and his wife Kim of Leesburg, GA, Britney Martin and her husband Kyle, of Worth County, GA, and Haley Sceals of Leesburg, GA. Nine great-grandchildren also survive; Alivia Korona, Jarrod Crawford, Lee Korona, Hadley Martin, Emory Korona, Ridge Korona, Braelyn Korona, Jasper Martin, and Jace Korona.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Mathews Funeral Home.
