Robert Lucian (Buck) Peek, Jr

Robert L. (Buck) Peek, Jr., 67, of Leesburg, GA, died December 3, 2015 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3:00 PM at Liberty Parkway Church of God. Rev. Bob Prince, Pastor Jamie Baggett and Rev. Dana Swain will officiate. Interment will follow in Leesburg City Cemetery.

Born in Albany, GA to the late Robert and Lois Henderson Peek, Buck grew up in Leesburg, GA and graduated from Lee County High School in 1966. He was employed with Arcadian Motor Carriers as the Yard Manager and retired from Martin Marietta after thirteen years. Buck was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Bass Masters Association.

Survivors include two sons and their wives, Brent and Jessica Peek of Lee County, GA and Brian and Carrie Peek of Tuscon, AZ, two sisters, Cheryl Wiggins of Leesburg, GA and Sandra McComb and her husband, Mike of Bainbridge, GA, three brothers, Larry Peek and his wife, Debra of Dawson, GA, Jackie Peek and his wife, Rhonda of Lee county, GA and Dewayne Peek of Putney, GA and two grandchildren, Peyton Peek of Shellman, GA and Luke Peek of Lee County, GA.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Liberty Parkway Church of God.
