Robert Wesley Merriam

Robert Wesley Merriam, 75, of Albany, GA, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017 at his residence.  A memorial service will be conducted on Wednesday at 10:00 am at Mathews Funeral Home.  Rev. Malcolm C. Parker will officiate.

Born in Buffalo, NY, Bob relocated to California where he lived the majority of his life with his family and worked at CDC/FDM of Anaheim with his best friend, Dave Carlson. He moved to Georgia in 1997 and spent his typical day as one of the first customers at Tony's Gym, followed by coffee at McDonalds and a stop by the grocery store. He enjoyed spending the rest of his day doing yard work and laying by the pool with a book.

Survivors include his daughter Crystal Collins and her husband Barry, a son Robert Weylin Merriam, and three grandchildren Aaron Collins, Briana Collins, and Ivey Grace Collins all of Albany, GA.

The family will receive friend’s immediately following the service.
