Robert Lane Hall

Robert L. Hall, 92, of Albany, GA, died October 9, 2023.  Graveside services will be held, Friday, October 13, 2023 at 1:00pm at Crown Hill Cemetery.  

Mr. Hall was born in Ocilla, GA on February 13, 1931 to Robert B. and Pauline Hall.  He graduated from Ocilla High School and served his country in The U.S. Army. Mr. Hall moved to Albany, GA in 1958 to work at The Marine Corps Logistic Base, resigning in 1982.

 Mr. Hall and his wife, Rheda, were best known as the owners and operators of Putt-Putt Golf and Games on North Slappey Boulevard and for starring in their T.V. Commercials.  He was a former member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church and the Open Door Sunday School Class.  Mr. Hall was also a member of the Artesian City Car Club and the Audubon Society.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rheda Blackwell Hall in 2013.  Survivors include his wife Margaret Warbington Haire, nieces and nephews, James “Buddy” (Cheryl) Blackwell, Madison G. (Butch) Blackwell, Charles G. “Chuck” Blackwell, David (Ann) Blackwell and C.Q. (Linda) Blackwell.
