Robert Franklin Griffin

Robert Franklin Griffin, 81, of Ideal, GA died Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at his residence. Private services will be held.
Born in Mayo, FL, Mr. Griffin had resided in Ideal, GA since 1980 moving there from Macon, GA. He was retired from Lee-Way Enterprises in the design and engineering department. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Air Force, a member of Nitram Masonic Lodge # 188 F & AM in St. Petersburg, FL and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by a son, Ray Griffin.
Survivors include his wife, Abbie Sue Renfroe Griffin, Ideal, GA, two sons, Robert F. Griffin, Jr., Navaree, FL and Eddie Griffin, Vienna, GA, a daughter, Lillian Lenell Lambert, Bainbridge, GA, two sisters, Juanita Gilley and Ann Heath both of Tallahassee, FL, nine grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
