Robert Emory Bruner, Sr

Robert Emory Bruner, Sr. 83, of Leesburg, GA died Friday, July 25, 2014 at Willson Hospice House. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 10:00am with Memorial Services to follow at 11:00am at Philema Road Baptist Church, Pastor Dan Harris will officiate.

Born in Morgan GA, Mr. Bruner has resided in Lee County GA since 1960. Mr. Bruner was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Air Force from 1950-54. He was a retired electronics instructor at Albany Technical College and owner of Bruner Electronics. He was a lifetime member of the Georgia Retired Teachers Association, past president and treasurer and member Lee County Retired Educators Association, past president and life time member of the Georgia Electronics Service Dealers Association. He was a member of Byne Memorial Baptist church.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years Betty J. Bruner of Leesburg, a son, Robert Emory Bruner, Jr. and his wife Mary of Leesburg, GA, two daughters Debbie Bruner and Patty Bruner of Leesburg, GA, two brothers Anthony M. Bruner (Tony), Leesburg, GA, Frank Bruner and his wife Laura of Albany, GA, one sister Charlene B. Smith and her husband Larry, Buford, GA, grandchildren Robert Eric Bruner and his wife Joy, Bryan Paul Bruner and wife Cristy, Britt Alan Bruner and his wife Katie, Melissa Bogadi, Dawn Ward-Dobbs and twelve great grandchildren.
