Rita Thacker Studdard

Rita Thacker Studdard, 70, of Lee County, died Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at her residence with her family by her side.

Born in Albertville, AL, Rita was retired and had been an avid quilter for most of her adult life.  She loved her family and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Rita was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Wydene Thacker and her father, John Kenneth Thacker.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Paul Studdard of Leesburg, GA, daughter, Christie Baker (Jacob), of Leesburg, GA, son Rodney Studdard (Sara), of Bolingbrook, IL, brothers, Kenneth Thacker (Paula), of Manchester, TN, Kerry Thacker (Beth), of Columbia, TN,  sister, Kay Rodgers (Ray), of Attalla, AL and seven grandchildren, Anthony Heisler, Madison Studdard, Gavin Studdard, Nora Studdard, Brantley Baker, Bryson Baker, Bennett Baker.
