Rickman Chason Anglin, 78, of Albany, GA, died Thursday, January 12, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Ben Bush will officiate. Interment will follow in Andersonville National Cemetery with military honors.
A native of Donaldsonville, GA, Mr. Anglin had resided in Albany, GA since 1972 moving from Mountain Home, Idaho. He was retired from the United Sates Air Force and served during Korea and Vietnam. Mr. Anglin was the former owner and operator of Economy Upholstery and was a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include a son and his wife, Rick and Shelia Anglin of Albany, GA, a daughter and her husband, Donna and Russell Boyd of Roswell, GA, five grandchildren, Ricky Anglin and Chason Anglin both of Albany, GA, Tara Pierce and her husband, Jonathan of Dacula, GA, Nicholas Davis of Loganville, GA and Miranda Davis of Roswell, GA, two brothers, Rev. Russell Anglin and his wife, Bobbie, of Albany, GA and Lynwood Anglin and his wife, Maxine, of Brooksville, FL, four sisters,
Clyde Arnold of Donaldsonville, GA, Christine Robinson of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Cleo Thompson of Donaldsonville, GA and Hazel Runnels of Lakeland, FL and ten great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home
