Richard "Richie" Riner

Richard “Richie” Riner, 58, of Lee County died Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at his residence.

His funeral service will be Friday 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home.  Rev. John Williams officiating.  Rev. John Williams will officiate.

Born in Albany, Richie worked for Oxford for 39 years where he was a supervisor at the Asphalt Plant. He was a loving father and caring husband and just an all around loving person.

Survivors include his wife Janice Watts Riner, sons, Chris Riner, Terry Stevens, Justin Riner (Katie), grandson, Cody Stevens, sister,  Belve Duncan (Gary), brother, Charles Riner (Debbie), sister in law, Penny Jones (Greg), brother in law Charlie Watts (Vickie) and his mother in law, Faye Yon.

The family will receive friends Thursday, 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
