Richard Allan Menton, Sr

Richard Allan Menton, Sr., 64 of Lee Co., GA, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2016 at Phoebe Worth Medical Center. Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home with military honors.

Born in Longview, WA, Mr. Menton was a retired truck driver with Reeves Construction Co., and a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake Menton and Opal Tatkett Menton.

Survivors include a son, Richard Allan Menton, Jr., a daughter, Amanda Opal Menton both of Lee Co., GA, a sister, Pam Duke, Cookville, TX, the mother of his children, Mary Edwards Shaw, Lee Co., GA and four grandchildren, Kadrian, Kamron, Kaliya and Azya (Zy Zy).

The family will receive friends following the services at Mathews Funeral Home.
