Richard E. "Ricky" May

Richard E. “Ricky” May, 60, of Mitchell County, GA, died June 14, 2018 at his residence. A Gathering to Celebrate the Life of Ricky will start Saturday at 3:00 PM at the Life Christian Center International. All family and friends are welcome to join.

Ricky was born in Warner Robins, GA on December 21, 1957 to a military family. He grew up in Pensacola, FL and Milledgeville, GA and graduated from Baldwin High School in 1975. Ricky moved to Albany, GA as a young adult and was employed with Carlton Company and Yancey Brothers for over twenty years. He was a member of Philema Road Baptist Church and was an expert marksman. Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh P. May and Mavis Claire Hatcher May and by a brother, Larry May.

Survivors include his sons, Sean (Brittany) May of Winder, GA and Kris May of Mitchell County, GA, his siblings, Debra May of Mitchell County, GA and Kathy (Edwin) Gregory of Cordele, GA and two grandchildren, Sarah May and Landon May.

The family will be at their residence.
