Richard Clinton Hyde, Sr., 84, of Leesburg, GA., died Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center.
Mr. Hyde had lived in Leesburg since 2010 moving from Minnesota. He served our country and retired from the United States Air Force where he was an aircraft mechanic. After retirement Mr. Hyde stayed busy working various jobs and enjoyed working with his hands and fixing things. He was an avid member of the National Rifle Association and American Legion. Above all he was a proud grandfather, great-grandfather and a devoted family man who loved his family.
Survivors include his daughter, Teresa Nealey; his step children, DeeDee, Kellie and Kip; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister Eleanor Duerksen; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonita Demlow-Menken Hyde, his son, Richard “Ricky” Clinton Hyde, Jr. and step-son, Kevin Demlow-Menken.
