Rhonda Leigh Ray Buoni

Rhonda Leigh Ray Buoni, 53, of Albany, GA, died April 30, 2016 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Jerry Willis will officiate. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery.

Rhonda was a native and lifelong resident of Albany, GA. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1980 and was employed with Keri's Laundry and Simpson's Laundry. She was a member of Mercedes Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas A. Ray.

Survivors include her mother, Irene Varnadoe Ray and her life partner, John F. Saxon both of Albany, GA, her brother, Allen "Peppy" Richardson of Wichita, KS, two nephews, Patrick Richardson and Sean Richardson, close friends, Beverly Bulloch, Bonnie Sanders, Maurice Sanders, Tommy Saxon and Dennis Saxon.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday at Mathews Funeral Home.
