Rheda Blackwell Hall, 79, of Albany, GA died Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at her residence. The funeral service will be held Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Lakeside Baptist Church. Rev. Ken Chancellor will officiate. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.

A native of Monticello, GA, Mrs. Hall graduated from Monticello High School and Valdosta State College (Uni.) where she was very active in all sports. She has been a resident of Albany since 1957. She and her husband, Robert, founded the Putt-Putt Family Fun Center (now the All American Fun Park), North Slappey Blvd., Albany, GA in 1957 and operated it for many years, entertaining many young people and families and giving many young people their first jobs.

Mrs. Hall was employed at the Marine Corps Supply Center where she worked as a Personnel Management Specialist and Management Services Officer. She left the Marine Base in 1982 to devote more time to the family business.

Mrs. Hall was an active member of Lakeside Baptist Church where she was very happy. She loved her pastor, Brother Ken Chancellor and the members. She was a member of Rob Williams/Pete Wood Sunday School Class.

She was previously an active member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church where she served as Director of the Open Door Sunday School Dept. and led the Low Impact Aerobics for Seniors for several years.

Mrs. Hall was the daughter of the late Jessie Malone and Charles Quinn Blackwell of Jasper Co. She was preceded in death by her sister, Violet Blackwell Jordan and brothers, Frank, Madison and C.Q. Blackwell.

She is survived by her husband of fifty eight years, Robert Lane Hall and five nephews, James F. (Buddie) Blackwell (wife, Cheryl), Madison G. (Butch) Blackwell, Charles G. (Chuck) Blackwell, David Blackwell (wife, Ann), C.Q. Blackwell (wife, Linda), and two nieces, Bonnie Bennett and Betty Blackwell Brown, sisters-in-law, Margaret Blackwell, Helen Hurst (husband, Clayton), several great nephews and nieces, and her little dog, Puddin, who has been a faithful companion.

Mrs. Hall and her husband enjoyed fishing very much and liked to compete to see "who caught the biggest and most". They loved to follow the Braves, The Georgia Bulldogs and the Falcons. They are known for their famous commercials for the Fun Park in which Robert always ends with "I can beat you, occasionally"!! They received many favorable comments about their ads for the Fun Park.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Lakeside Baptist Church.
