Rebecca Ann Holley Brown, 86, of Albany, GA, died August 6, 2015 at Willson Hospice House in Albany. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at Thundering Springs Baptist Church. Pastor Casey Bradford and Pastor Jerry Willis will officiate. Interment will follow at Thundering Springs Cemetery.

Born in Decatur Co., GA to the late Willie Ed and Flewellyn Lewis Coleman, Mrs. Brown lived in Leary, GA, before moving to Albany, GA in 1944. She was a homemaker and was formerly employed with The YMCA and Detherage Insurance Agency.

For many, many years, Mrs. Brown blessed others through her Card, Christmas Ornament and Pound Cake Ministry. She was an active member of Thundering Springs Baptist Church and enjoyed the Ladies III Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Hoke Edwin Holley and Robert (Bobby) Brown, a sister, Mary Sovie, and a brother, William Murray Coleman.

Survivors include her childern, Dennis Edwin (Dianne) Holley of Grantville, GA and John David (Teresa) Holley of Leesburg, GA, Tracy L. (Benny) Smith of Albany, GA, Deborah (Al) Wheaton of Ball Ground, GA and Graylon Brown of Littleton, CO, six grandchildren, Casey (Shane) Pickelsimer of Albany, GA, Ricky (Amanda) Holley of Milwaukee, WI, Amanda (Jeff) Ernst of Sheboygan, WI, Justin (Stephanie) Smith, Marietta, GA, Jacob (Nikita) Smith of Norcross, Ga and Kellie Johns of Leesburg, GA, her great-grandchildren, Chris Fitzgerald, Corey Fitzgerald, Kelsie Ernst, Jackson Ernst, Alexia Holley and Cash Morgan, ten nieces and nephews including one very special niece and caretaker, Selina Stephenson and numerous adopted children and grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at Mathews Funeral Home.
